here we go…

I needed an outlet where I could express my thoughts an opinions based upon what I have been reading or listening to. These thoughts might cause disagreement and I might change my mind later on any topic. However I would like to continually seek truth. I appreciate challenges to my understanding as they help me grow and know myself better. The title, "here we go…" is a joke that I have with a friend. Basically everytime our conversation turns to something political or religious he says, "here we go!" and we both laugh. It is to the point now that he says it before the conversation starts. Also, I am obviously not an expert and don't claim to be. Many of these postings are dealing with information that is hotly debated among scholars and experts and I am interested in these debates. Having knowledge does not require expertise. However, for me, it is important to seriously inquire into a these subjects through open minded inquiry.
